Comparison of location to Royal Free Hospital, London

I have removed the line referring to the RFH, where its heathside location is compared to that of the RVH as another example of late Victorian teaching hospitals being sited outside of the crowded inner cities. The site referred to was not occupied by the RFH until 1974 when the current building was opened, on the site of the former small, local Hampstead General Hospital in Pond Street. The original RFH was previously located a couple of miles towards the centre of London in Grays Inn Road. Plutonium27 (talk) 05:05, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

Assessment comment

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

I have added substantially to the history of the hospital and the description of the site and vicinity today, a few weeks before this comment of 19 October 2008. The rating from the WikiProject Ireland grading has not been updated, still recording this page as a 'Start' grade on its quality scale. I feel that this page is well beyond that quality now, and should be regraded. The recent and planned future developments of the institution are not part of my written additions, but a comprehensive one page website simple and clearly defines these developments and proposed developments so a link is given to that web page.
