Internment during WWII

The article states that Newman was interned in the Isle of Man and then at Lingfield transit camp. This sounds highly unlikely, as it was generally the case that people went from transit camps on the mainland to the Isle of Man and not the other way round. The source/reference for this is broken. Does anyone know better to confirm or correct this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamesfranklingresham (talkcontribs) 21:41, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
