Bridges

I'm puzzled how the railway station mentions bridges over the A21 which is several miles away. The only bridge by the station is over the A232, and very ugly!

Station extension

I have used this station a fair amount for over 20 years, If I remember right the station was expanded I think from 5 platforms to 8 at a point in the mid 1990s maybe 1994. Platforms 6, 7 & 8 the dead end platforms are the new platforms I think. The bus station is also a fairly recent addition added at the same time or after, before this there were 3 small stops on the road for the different buses they had no shelters or seats. Does anyone have a better memory than me or can find a source for this. Carlwev (talk) 01:31, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Looks like Southeastern have withdrawn the original pdf. I've linked to their latest offering, though I don't know whether it supports the claim that Orpington is step-free access. Dr Sludge (talk) 10:45, 20 June 2017 (UTC)
