Expand all articles to at least Start class. Some song stubs can't be expanded and should be redirected to the relevant album article. Use the "Interstellar Overdrive" article as an example when editing a song stub.
Expand all of the Floyd's studio album articles to at least GA status.

'Rock' or 'Psychedelic Rock'

I see from the history that the genre was briefly changed to 'Psychedelic rock, progressive rock, art rock' before reverting back to simply 'Rock'. As the band is concentrating exclusively on the very early music of Pink Floyd isn't it correct to categorise it as 'Psychedelic rock' (but without 'Progressive' or 'Art')? I think the (unsourced) list of concert dates needs to be removed from the article. It was OK when the band had only played a few dates, but it's getting completely out of hand now. We don't need to detail the dates of every concert an act plays, except where tours are notable enough to be spun off into separate articles. I also have concerns about the (also unsourced) setlist, which is likewise ever-expanding as more songs are added to their repertoire. Jellyman (talk) 11:53, 14 March 2019 (UTC)

I disagree on both counts. The band are not a recording band, only a live band and have only toured once – which is still on-going. The set list has changed very little since the pre-tour shows in May 2018, having 4 additions (and nothing removed) in the 12 month period since. If, however, the band go on to do more tours in the future, I will fully support the moving of the tour information to its own page, but not before then. On the topic of an "unsourced setlist", nearly every Wikipedia article for a concert tour contains unsourced setlists because there are no reliable sources online which meet Wikipedia's criteria for a reliable source, however the information is out there, on Setlist FM, YouTube, Facebook, etc. – Dyolf87 (talk) 13:40, 29 May 2019 (UTC)

Tour dates removed

The Tour dates were removed. I think, the dates should be restored. For example, the Tour's (and Tour dates) of Pink Floyd have own articles (The Division Bell Tour etc.) Grimes2 (talk) 13:35, 27 September 2020 (UTC)

I removed it for all the reasons Jellyman stated above. But to restate: articles about musical acts don't need to list every show they play. We typically include such lists only when tours or shows are notable enough for their own article (and even then not in every case).

Dyolf87, no I haven't. However I don't think I would learn anything if I did because WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Perhaps those articles ought to be deleted. Popcornfud (talk) 13:32, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
