The idea of renumbering MB 75 as MB 29 to match I-29 either needs a reputable source (i.e. public documents/media, not roadgeek discussion threads), or it needs to be deleted as wild speculation. VT hawkeyetalk to me 03:48, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
- Three weeks, no response, and no Google results: time for renumbering stuff to go per WP:NOR. Please only add if verifiable -- thanks. VT hawkeyetalk to me 03:12, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
Concerning uploading a shield image
I am considering creating a set of Manitoba highway shield images for use in Wikipedia (such as to use in this and the I-29 article). However, it has come to my attention that the provincial wordmark and buffalo logo are used on the shields, in which case they'd be protected graphics. Is this true? If so, what are the restrictions on the use of the logo? Would using a low-res shield picture be a valid "logo" picture? --WhosAsking 15:22, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
- I went ahead and played it safe, uploading the shields under Fair Use provisions. --WhosAsking 15:23, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
