Key businesses

You should add that the key businesses in the Manistee area are the Corrections Facility near Eastlake, Michigan and the Indian casino across the street from Blacker Airport. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mules642001 (talk • contribs) 08:41, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Oleson's remodeling is complete. Walgreens is now open. Both ~Nov. '07 -- both items are on the main page. They need updating or just removal entirely. More is going on than stores expanding/opening (in my opinion). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.227.217.211 (talk) 05:08, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Who cares about Oleson's and Walgreens?

I removed all that. I mean, honestly, is having a WALGREENS notable enough to be on Manistee's wikipedia page? And don't get me started on mentioning Oleson's being remodeled. 0RLYmanistee (talk) 14:42, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Need a climate section

I was just to the article on Cadillac, Michigan and note that they have a section that looks this this.

Climate

Cadillac experiences a typical northern Michigan climate, undergoing temperate seasonal changes, influenced by the presence of Lake Michigan and the inevitable lake effect. Winters are generally cold with large amounts of snowfall. Summers are warm. [1] The average high temperature in July is 79 °F (26 °C) and the average low is in January, at 10 °F (-12 °C). Summer temperatures can exceed 90 °F (32 °C), and winter temperatures can drop below 0 °F (-18 °C). Average annual rainfall is 32 inches (81 cm), and average annual snowfall is 71 inches (180 cm) . Snowfall typically occurs between the months of November and March.

Cityscape and Historic Landmarks

Dear fellow Manistee/Michigan Wikipedians:

While I'm non the subject of Cadillac, Michigan, I note that they have two subsections in their article that would really fit into the Manistee article.

They are

Cityscape

and

Historic Landmarks

It would be helpful if someone familiar with the lay of the land could do narrative sections like they did in Cadillac, Michigan.

Just a gentle suggestion and a request for assistance. Thanks7&6=thirteen (talk) 22:33, 2 January 2008 (UTC)Stan

Radio station?

The home page lists Manistee being home to WMTE-FM/AM, although it seems they've been silent for quite some time. Do they even exist anymore? At least I know I haven't heard 101.5 playing anything as of recent. 97.83.122.169 (talk) 02:16, 12 June 2015 (UTC)Sal

Entries on a notable list should have articles that document that notability. —¿philoserf? (talk) 13:38, 7 July 2022 (UTC)
