Lukeni is not known for "creating" the Kingdom of Kongo, but for reuniting it. He is not the first ruler (ntinu) of Kongo but the first one called "Ntotila" and the first ruler of Kongo dia Ntotila. He reunited the several Kingdoms that resulted in the falling apart of the former "Kingdom" of Kongo. Therefore the name "Kongo dia Ntotila" litteraly: the united states of Kongo (no pun intended).Say USSR reunites anytime soon, its first president afterwards won't be called "first president of USSR", but firt president of the new USSR or whatever it might be called and at the same time, he would be the 10th or 30th (or whatever number) ruler of the coountry because of the continuity between those that ruled this country/civilization firt and the last one.Same goes with Kongo. There were several kings before Lukeni Lua Nimi and the first ruler of Kongo is known as "Ntinu a Wene", just like the kings in other countries. When I have time, I may complete the article a little bit. And about the bibliography, there are several Kongo historians, and many traditional sources for the history of Kongo. Why not take them into account like for other countries? Those in the bibliography seem incomplete or inaccurate (mistranslations, misinterpretations, authors' self deductions etc).Actually, Nimi defeated the king of Kongo dia Mpangala not the king "Mpangala" (which would be like saying "king Britain" or "King France" instead of "the king of ...").
