– WP:COMMONNAME for both is just "Luis Hernández" without maternal surname. Disambiguate to standard at WP:NCSP. Ortizesp (talk) 00:15, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

Oppose years per WP:NCPDAB ("Years of birth and death are not normally used as disambiguators (readers are more likely to be seeking this information than to already know it)") and per Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_(sportspeople)#Association_football_(soccer), but Support Luis Hernández (Spanish footballer) and Luis Hernández (Cuban footballer) per those guidelines. Support per WP:NCSP and standard convention to avoid using nationality for footballer articles wherever possible, given that nationality is fluid and can be confusing. Giant Snowman 11:37, 25 May 2021 (UTC)
