From personal conversations with Shapley...

Reference 6 reads "From personal conversations with Shapley. He needed the Soviet weather reports over Siberia to help predict the weather over Japan 1 or 2 days later. Some sources have this wrong.". This is not, has never been and hopefully never will be a valid source in Wikipedia. Can somebody factcheck this affirmation? --Arbraxan (talk) 19:14, 25 September 2013 (UTC)

Changed. (Admittedly somewhat lazily.) Fat&Happy (talk) 19:37, 25 September 2013 (UTC)

I added this reference because people kept changing it to reflect the erroneous "breaking the Japanese weather code" that Sylvia Nasar put in her biography of John Nash. I made the change at the request of my father, Lloyd Shapley. Now that the Nobel Biography is online (with the correct info) hopefully Nasar's error will be put to rest.Pshapley (talk) 20:01, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
