The U.S. team at the 1965 Deaflympics in Washington DC included a "Kitty Linn O'Neil" born 1946. I assume this is the same person; can anyone find further information on her participation in the Deaflympics? -Etoile (talk) 19:06, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Her obituary in the Hollywood Reporter states she was never married to Duffy Hambleton. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/kitty-oneil-dead-hollywood-stuntwoman-daredevil-was-72-1158193165.225.35.17 (talk) 22:21, 5 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The note says, "Although not impossible, smallpox was a highly unlikely disease in 1940s Texas. The last endemic case of smallpox in the United States was in 1949 - in the Rio Grande valley of Texas." I'm confused. Aren't these two sentences directly in contradiction with each other? the wording "11-meter platform diver and 4-meter springboard diver" should actually say "10-meter platform diver and 3-meter springboard diver" -- these are standard heights for diving equipment, and the article cited does use ten and three. Wikiwi43 (talk) 17:58, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
