Jon Schmidt is the most amazing pianist! I have never played or heard any music as fun, beautiful, calm, energetic, and just plain enjoyable all in one!

The section "Piracy by a Copy Cat" is not cited. I cannot find a single other source saying that this man copied Jon Schidt. In fact this page, http://www.heathvercher.com/ is Heath Vercher's home page. The last part (jon's lawyer and manager posing death threats) is highly unlikely and not in the least bit plausible. If somebody can find a confirmation, then great, but otherwise this section does not belong.Marine775 03:22, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

I agree. I have contacted the original author of this section, asking for references. If they aren't produced in a week, I will delete the section. --SuperCow 22:21, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
My apologies, I thought I had left the source on the site. Anyhow, I see someone has found the page and linked it (It was the KSL.com story) Thanks Macwiki 17:12, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

The part about Heath Vercher using Jon Schmidt's music is true - it was all over the news -- I'll find some references for that -- As for the part about the lawyer and all of that other crap, it certainly isn't true and can be taken out. Somebody was just trying to be funny apparently.VBlack 05:38, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

This is a web site that has information on the "Piracy": www.ksl.com; From looking at Heath's website, it is easy to see that he has dropped his previous CD, which was a blatant copy of Schmidt's first CD release. He now has his own first CD, Patch Work.71.199.14.83 04:21, 17 November 2006 (UTC)Vernon

Okay, I have fixed the part about Piracy, so that it now uses wording that is less belligerant. I have also added some links to websites that provide more information about it. There is a need for more information about the artist himself, and I'll work on getting that information. His online biography is a good source....VBlack 05:38, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

Nice Work. Thanks for finding those references. --SuperCow 16:58, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for getting that right and cited. I showed it to my friends and they couldn't stop laughing. I talked to Mr. Schmidt last week and told him about the story. He verified its authenticity, but nearly passed out from laughter after he was told Heath Vercher ran a tequilla bar in Mexico. Laughs all around Marine775 00:51, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

The Piano Guys

"He currently works with Steven Sharp Nelson on a project called The piano guys, which has proved quite popular."Has it now. Is it just me or is that wording a bit funny? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.124.35.254 (talk) 23:52, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

It's not you - that whole section is incredibly poorly written.23.16.255.231 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 19:11, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
