J-structures are an alternative approach to developing Jordan algebras proposed by T. A. Springer in a 1973 book. This page currently redirects to Jordan algebra, but the latter article does not mention J-structures at all. Curiously, there is an article hidden underneath the redirect [1] which was overwritten by Mathsci on the grounds that it had been written by a banned user [2]. That article seems tolerable but I prefer to get consensus before restoring anything by a banned user per Wikipedia:Banning policy. Deltahedron (talk) 21:08, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
- Following discussion and consesnus at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject Mathematics/Archive/2014/Apr#J-structure, I have substantially revised and expanded the article, and it is my opinion that it is suitable for publication. Deltahedron (talk) 11:25, 18 May 2014 (UTC)
