Suspicion
- "Suspicions were first raised during Iron Maiden's recording, when Stratton added Wishbone Ash-esque harmony guitars ..."
This statement seems odd considering that Steve Harris stated in the Early Days DVD documentary that the reason he wanted two guitarists in the band was to specifically achieve this effect. It's widely known that Stratton had very different musical preferences to the rest of the band but this seems like a really poor example of it (the Queen-style backing vocals might be true though). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.23.126.238 (talk) 10:46, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
- The statement is precisely as documented in the band's biography and is supported by quotes from Stratton and Harris themselves.--Nerdtrap (talk) 15:53, 29 January 2015 (UTC)
- Does the fact that Harris is contradicting his own statement in Early Days warrant some mention? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.23.126.238 (talk) 10:18, 3 February 2015 (UTC)
I would say that there should be some assessment on the Wishbone Ash statement or at least some change that would more accurately portray the issue. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.23.126.238 (talk) 07:48, 7 February 2015 (UTC)
