Flag for 2022 and 2016 games
I'm really confused and puzzled, that both games were held by Taiwan just under their ROC national flag instead of Chinese Taipei, do we have evidences for this panorama? Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 01:42, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
- Chinese Taipei is only used as team name. Location-wise and 'Hosts' is always Taiwan under sports articles. Chinese Taipei is a team name and cannot represent a location. For example, the correct usage in a sentence: "The Chinese Taipei national baseball team was awarded 3rd place in the 2022 WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup, held in Tainan, Taiwan". Hope this clears things up. If you want, I'm fine with you adding a tag at the bottom saying ROC is commonly known as Taiwan, and uses Chinese Taipei to participate in international sports events.
