The result of the move request was: Moved to i (A.R. Kane album), allmusic only source using quote marks. Cf. i (Misako Odani album), also italicised. (non-admin closure) walk victor falk talk 09:44, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
"i" → Open to any suggestions – See I (disambiguation). In ictu oculi (talk) 10:37, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
- Suggest I (A.R. Kane album) or I (1989 album), and retarget the current title to the disambiguation page. I would expect people typing the current title to be looking form information on the lowercase form for the letter "I" -- 65.94.171.126 (talk) 15:56, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
- Move to I (A.R. Kane album) and retarget current title to disambiguation page, per 65.94.171.126. There are far too many possibilities more likely than this album to be the target of reader inquiries. The album requires disambiguation, and readers will only benefit from the redirection, allowing them more precisely to focus their search. Xoloz (talk) 16:17, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
- Move to "i" (A.R. Kane album). The quotation marks and lowercase i are elements of the album name (see, e.g., Discogs and Allmusic). bd2412 T 02:43, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
- Either move as per bd2412 or no move, but we should respect the original spelling. Red Slash 23:46, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
- The reason for that is that we often get bogged down in trivia, " or no ", I or i, etc. missing the point that the current title is totally unrecognisable and ambiguous. This way everyone gets to give their preference. In ictu oculi (talk) 21:50, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
- Move to title suggested by bd2412, and redirect this title to the disambiguation page. This would be precise enough, but double quotes may be used when searching for an exact title. There's also the convention of using them around song titles (and several songs are listed on the disambiguation page). Peter James (talk) 20:07, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
- User:BD2412 I have just followed up the " " issue in Google Books: Larkin (Guiness/Virgin) and Buckley (Rough Guide) don't have the " ". I have added both refs to article. Having said that I have no preference between I (A.R. Kane album) or "i" (A.R. Kane album), but I don't think it can stay at "i" when " " aren't on the cover and aren't in book sources. In ictu oculi (talk) 03:50, 10 June 2014 (UTC)
- I wonder if " " weren't added by original article creator because of not knowing how to template small so title appears as iota? In ictu oculi (talk) 03:52, 10 June 2014 (UTC)

- Move to i (A.R. Kane album). Keep lowercase "i" (without quotation marks), as shown in sources, and as also in i (The Magnetic Fields album) and i (Misako Odani album). Dohn joe (talk) 15:16, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
- Technical comment. According to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (technical restrictions)#Lowercase first letter, the title can't actually begin with a lowercase letter, though it can be made to look as if. Favonian (talk) 16:22, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
