I know that Washington once owned McDonalds franchises in the Rochester area, but I believe that is no longer the case in 2006. I think he sold them when he acquired the Youngstown franchises; if I can verify that I'll update this.

According to the Black Enterprises list of the 100 largest black owned business in America, Herb Washington owns over 21 McDonalds restaurants in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
