Proposed deletion
I have removed the proposal for deletion. It is true Eric Syddique's membership of the local council is not notable. His notability stems from his former position as chief executive of a quite significant national organisation, the Electoral Reform Society, and possibly also to his involvement in the governance of some other national bodies such as Chatham House and the Hansard Society. -- Alarics (talk) 22:05, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for your input into the article, which has improved it. I remain concerned about notability. The citations are all primary sources or very passing references. There's nothing here that supports the basic WP:GNG criterion. Bondegezou (talk) 16:47, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
