Career section

In 1985, he appeared in the pilot episode of Street Hawk. The following year, he played the reviled Professor B.O. Beanes on the television series Amazing Stories. In 1988, he was cast as the lead in a CBS sitcom titled The Dictator, which was scheduled to premiere in March of that year. However, the 1988 Writers Guild of American strike took effect on March 7, 1988, and only two episodes of The Dictator had been shot by that date. CBS, not wanting to air a new series with so few episodes, pulled the show from its schedule before it premiered, and it was canceled in April while the WGA strike was in progress.
