Switched to Neutral: My thanks to User:Jenks24 for recognizing that the talk page had been blanked with an edit at 19:43, 14 September 2014‎ by 74.102.229.37. That does reveal other comments that show support for the inclusion of the diacritic (unlike the comments I had seen on the talk page). So, agree that if any change is appropriate, then Nem rán would be more appropriate. However, I also welcome the helpful comments from In ictu oculi; I'm unsure of the most common use in English, and therefore have no objection to the proposal being rejected should more expert opinion prefer it. Oppose without further evidence of English usage (per User:In ictu oculi). The strong South Vietnamese influence in the U.S. means that chả giò shows up more than nem rán in English print sources. WP:REDIRECTSARECHEAP. Am I missing something else? — AjaxSmack 03:38, 13 November 2017 (UTC)
