Halifax General Strike is missing
the Halifax Trades and Labour Council consisted of 8,000 workers and ranked as the fourthlargest local organization in Canada, On 1 May 1919, over 2,000 men went on strike which prompted another 2500 from the shipbuilding industry to go on strike a year later. Both of which were some of the largest strikes in maritime history.
