Do the dates make sense?

He was born in Delhi in 1321 and died in 1422, making him 101. Might be correct, but questionable.

After teaching at various places ..., he returned to teach at his base, Gulbarga, in 1397 and died in the year 1422.This implies that he had been based in Gulbarga before 1397, but an earlier paragraph implies that he hadn't been there before: In 1397 he went to Gulbarga, Karnataka at the invitation of Sultan Feroz Shah Bahmani.
