weight
The photo at this site claims the Xplorer (United States) locomotive weighed 48,000 pounds or 24 short tons (the explanatory page here mentions that the photos were taken in 1956 in Columbus, Ohio). At this time this article claims the locomotive weighed "198,300 lb (89.9 t)" (in the infobox) or "99-ton" (third paragraph in article body). There seems to be a discrepancy. 69.126.127.193 (talk) 17:12, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
- Per the title on the top of the sign in the photo, the 48,000 pound weight is the weight of the power truck, not the entire locomotive. WuhWuzDat 20:06, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for clarifying that. 69.126.127.193 (talk) 23:25, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
