If you Look to German Media, the homepage of the SpVgg or anything else German, his Name is not "Baba Rahman", it's "Abdul Rahman Baba", and the last name is Baba. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.7.101.96 (talk) 2013-07-02 (UTC)

Hang on a minute, if the WP:COMMONNAME is "Baba Rahman" on the English language version, why is it that both the French and German versions of Wikipedia use the player's full name as the title of the article? Must we just believe that both Wikipedia Deutsche and Wikipedia Français have voted in favour of keeping the article title as "Abdul Rahman Baba?" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kő Cloch (talk • contribs) 11:45, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
In English media, at least on the existing wiki article, use "Baba Rahman" more (BBCIndependent (Ireland)). However, Chelsea press release (also on the wiki article as citation) use "Abdul Baba Rahman. ", while the archive version of club profile use Abdul Rahman Baba[1] Anyway, not sure it was suffered from Western name order or not (which Li Tie is right in Chinese custom, as Li is surname, but you can call him Tie Li in Western name order), but certainly it is controversial and need RM discussion. My OR seem suggest "Abdul Rahman" is a genuine Arabic person name (Abd al-Rahman), in which Abdul is just prefix (Servant of, e.g. Abdullah Servant of Allah). True Arabic name are patronymic, but i am not sure about Ghana . Anyway, for RM matter, it should sort of which is common name rather than which version of the full name based on reliable source, rather than WP:OR, which is forbidden .
