Periscope Rifle

Please, someone ref. the invention of the periscope rifle somewhere in this article as it played a very novel and integral role to Australian snipers at Quinn's post. Furthermore someone if they can please start an article on some of these locations in red, and especially include Quinn's post in here somewhere. The periscope rifle article was just created by me so I'd like to leave it to the other editors to proliferate it where they see it appropriate. Great aussie invention! Expand or chop

> The first objective for soldiers coming ashore in enemy-held territory was to establish a beachhead, that is, a safe section of beach protected from enemy attack where supplies and extra troops could be safely brought ashore.

I suggest this paragraph doesn't add much. Unless it can be expanded, I think we can cut it. Regards, Ben Aveling 12:51, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Former name?

What was the cove called before 1915 - or did it not have a name? Grutness...wha? 10:32, 18 May 2015 (UTC)

Inconsistent capitalization

Is there a standard for how "ANZAC" (or "Anzac") should be capitalized in this context? Currently it is mixed in this article, and in other places that link to it. My opinion is that it should be "ANZAC" because it is an initialism. But the world does not always work according to my opinion, so before changing anything I thought I should ask here. So are there any other views?--Gronk Oz (talk) 14:18, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

(Note:I have also raised this same question on the article for Anzac Day.)--Gronk Oz (talk) 14:24, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
