Lebanese video used as reference does not show 152mm 2A36 gun in action.

The video used as a reference in this article actually shows an Israeli modified 130mm M-46 field gun in action. After the 1967 Six Day War Israel modified a number of captured Egyptian and Syrian 130mm M-46 field guns by changing the suspensions to the four wheeled walking beam type similar to that used on the Soltam M-68 and M-71 155mm howitzers. More likely they may have also used left over suspensions taken from the many French 155mm OB BF mle. 50 field howitzers which had been mounted on the Sherman chassis to create the M-50 SP howitzer. Some of these modified M-46s no doubt were transferred by Israel to the South Lebanese Army and perhaps to the rebuilt Lebanese army as well during the mid 1980s.SASH155 (talk) 03:38, 6 May 2013 (UTC)SASH155
