The 5000 "Reservists" Killed in Vietnam were almost all Regular Army Enlistees and Draftees that attended OCS and were commissioned Reserve Officers on AUS Status. They never served in a Reserve Unit nor were they called to active duty through the Reserves.

- 05:5305:53, 18 February 2019diff hist +1 mRoger Staubach Corrected a mistake and misinterpretation of the referenced article. "Command" has s specific meaning in the Military and carries UCMJ authority. He supervised 41 men in Vietnam but he was NOT the commander of the unit.
- 05:4705:47, 18 February 2019diff hist −58 mRoger Staubach Removed FALSE information. He was NOT the first Naval Academy Graduate commissioned directly into the Supply Corps. I don't know who was but RADM William E. Powell, Jr., the first Black Supply Corps Admiral graduated from the Naval Academy in 1959 and he was directly commissioned into the Supply Corps. Hence, Starbach was definitely NOT the first.

- 16:3016:30, 10 June 2018diff hist −9 mMichael Boorda Correct inaccuracies in Naval awards policy. Although in the Army the “V” device denotes valor, in the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard a “V” is officially the “Combat Designation Device” and simply indicates the decoration was awarded for service performed in a combat zone. Hence, even such non-combat awards as the Legion of Merit can be awarded to Navy personnel with a “V” device.
