South Sudan is scheduled to compete at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris from 26 July to 11 August 2024. This would be the nation's third appearance at the Summer Olympics, since its debut in 2016.

Men's tournament

For the first time in the history, the South Sudan men's basketball team, the youngest basketball nation's in the Olympics history, qualified for Paris, through the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup, as the highest rank from African zone.[1]

Team roster

A 50-player roster was announced on 30 April 2024.[2] It was cut to 25 players on 3 June 2024.[3]
