Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Local Government

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Local Government is a junior position in the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities in the British government. The this office has been vacant since 5 July 2024 after Sir Keir Starmer became Prime Minister following the Labour Party's achievment of a landslide victory in the 2024 general election. Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner is the incumbent Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, and along with Keir Starmer, will appoint a minister to fill this office.
