Pavon is the most prominent mexican model and the one with the most Vogue covers. She moved to New York at an early age and was discovered by a scout while walking in the street of Soho, Manhattan, ever since Luz has appeared in the most recognizable beauty and fashion advertisements, numerous magazines and publications like Vogue US, Teen Vogue,[3] New York Times, i-D magazine,[4] Dazed,[5] Vogue Italia, Wonderland, Esquire,[6] GQ, L’Oréal, Estée Lauder, Dior Makeup, MAC Cosmetics, YSL, Carolina Herrera,[7] Balmain, GAP, MTV,[8].

Early life

Before Luz became a model she partnered with her sister and founded a clothing company in New York, they created a dress called "The Ruffle Tube Dress" soon after it became a hit and a best seller when stylist Patricia Field from Sex and the City featured it on the show.[9]
