Jackson Township, DeKalb County, Indiana

Jackson Township is one of fifteen townships in DeKalb County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 3,664, up from 3,064 at the 2010 census,[4] and it contained 1,448 housing units.

Jackson Township was founded in 1838.[5]

Geography

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 35.59 square miles (92.2 km2), of which 35.4 square miles (92 km2) (or 99.47%) is land and 0.19 square miles (0.49 km2) (or 0.53%) is water.[4] Dunton Lake is in this township.
