India competed at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon, from 15 to 24 July 2022.[1] India had entered 21 athletes.[2] India won their first silver at the World Athletics Championships since their debut in the games. Neeraj Chopra became the first male Indian athlete to win a medal at the World Athletics Championships.[3]
