English: ARABIAN SEA (Feb. 13, 2012) Seattle Seahawks cheerleaders, the Sea Gals, and comedian Brian Ricci greet Sailors and Marines aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) and sign autographs. The Sea Gals and Ricci, along with Seahawk defensive back Roy Lewis, visited the ship as part of an Armed Forces Entertainment sponsored tour to help boost morale for deployed troops. Makin Island and embarked Marines assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (11th MEU) are deployed supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
