Maxim Alexandrovich Lazarev (Russian: Максим Александрович Лазарев; born 28 June 1985, Volgograd) - Russian educator and entomologist, is engaged in research and teaching activities. Specialist in longhorned beetles (Cerambycidae).[2] PhD in Pedagogy (2013)[3][4], Professor of the Russian Academy of Natural History (2021)[5]. Corresponding member of the Moscow Society of Naturalists of the Zoology (Entomology) section (2005).

Biography

Born in Volgograd in 1985.Graduated with honors from the Medical College of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (2004)[6]. In 2010 he graduated with honors from the Master's program of the Faculty of Biology and Chemistry of the Moscow State Pedagogical University (2010).He worked as a researcher at the Institute of Art Education of the Russian Academy of Education (2011-2015), where he defended his PhD thesis without a supervisor on the topic “The development of artistic culture in the professional development of a modern teacher” (2013)[3]. He headed the department of "Pedagogy and Psychology" at the International Academy of Education (2015-2017)[6]. One year later, he became the head of the research department at the Chekhov Technical School (Moscow Region, 2018-2019). Since 2019, he has been working as a chief specialist in the Free Economic Society of Russia in the Department of Science and All-Russian Projects[7].Over the years, he was the editor-in-chief of various scientific journals: Humanity space. International almanac (since 2012)[1]; Pedagogy of arts (2011-2015)[6]; Worldview in the XXI century (2018-2019)[8].

The collection is represented mainly by the world fauna of longhorn beetles (Cerambycidae), and contains a large amount of type material of holotypes and paratypes.A large number of other families are also represented: Scarabaeidae, Curculionidae, Buprestidae, Carabinae.
