Formation of JAAGO Foundation

Jago Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Korvi Rakhsand in 2007 to provide quality education to underprivileged children in Bangladesh. The foundation started with just 7 children and a small amount of space, equipped with very basic amenities including a whiteboard and a carpet.[3]

Jago School offers international-quality English-medium instruction in addition to its Bengali-focused curriculum. Art, dancing, theater, debate, sports, music, and photography are among the extracurricular activities offered. Members of the foundation are attempting to instill healthy living and cleanliness values in pupils through initiatives like the "Healthy Living Program" and the "Call for Hygiene Program."[4]

Apart from schooling, the Jago Foundation is actively engaged in social development programs that offer simple access to healthcare and economic empowerment. Vocational training programs offer valuable chances for skill development to local communities, while programs like "Primary Medical Centers" offer free medical examinations and medication to children and their families.[4]
