Danks Down and Truckle Hill

Danks Down and Truckle Hill (grid reference ST834758) is a 13.1 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Wiltshire, notified in 1990.

Green fields and a path on Danks Down North of Ford. A footpath (part of the Macmillan Way) leaves the Castle Combe Road to follow the right flank of Danks Down towards Long Dean. The path runs along the left-hand side of this picture, with the By Brook in the valley to the right and Long Dean hamlet in the wooded area in the middle distance.
