2024–25 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier

The 2024–25 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier is an ongoing cricket tournament that forms part of the qualification process for the 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The Qualifier will confirms the two entrants from the European region who will join England and Ireland, who have pre-qualified by progress in the 2024 finals and by world ranking respectively, in the 2026 finals.

In this cycle, a total of thirty teams are participating in the sub-regional phase, while the two leading associates, Scotland and Netherlands, who took part in the 2024 finals, progressing directly to the regional final.

The sub-regional phase is divided into three events with ten teams competing in each event, which are being held between June and August 2024.[1] Qualifier A was played in Italy from 9 to 16 June 2024, with the hosts victorious, qualifying for the regional final.[2] Qualifier B will be held in Germany from 7 to 14 July 2024.[3] Qualifier C will be held in Guernsey from 21 to 28 August 2024.[4][5]

The hosts and the dates of the sub-regional qualifier tournaments were announced on 14 December 2023. Italy and Germany were awarded hosting rights of an ICC qualification pathway event for the first time.[6][7] The event in Germany was planned to be held at two venues like the other two sub-regional qualifiers but on the day before first matches ICC Europe announced that the ground at GelsenTrabPark, Gelsenkirchen could not be used. The schedule was changed to hold all matches at Krefeld.[8]

Italy advanced from Qualifier A, with former Australian international Joe Burns scoring a century in the final against Romania.[9]

Teams

England qualified directly for the T20 World Cup as a top eight team from the previous edition. Ireland qualified directly through ICC Men's T20I Team Rankings. The following teams entered the qualification process for the remaining two quotas for Europe.
