2013 MAC women's basketball tournament

The 2013 Mid-American Conference women's basketball tournament was the post-season basketball tournament for the Mid-American Conference (MAC) 2012–13 college basketball season. The 2013 tournament was held March 9–16, 2013. Fourth seeded Central Michigan won the championship over third seeded Akron.[1] Crystal Bradford of Central Michigan was the MVP.[2]

Format

First round games were held on campus sites at the higher seed on March 9. The remaining rounds were held at Quicken Loans Arena, between March 13–16.[3] The top two seeds received byes into the semifinals, with the three and four seeds receiving a bye to the quarterfinals.
