কিবতীয় জাতি
কিবতি জাতি (কিবতীয়: ⲚⲓⲢⲉⲙ̀ⲛⲭⲏⲙⲓ ̀ⲛ̀Ⲭⲣⲏⲥⲧⲓ̀ⲁⲛⲟⲥ, প্রতিবর্ণী. NiRemenkīmi enKhristianos; আরবি: الْقِبْط, al-Qibṭ) উত্তর আফ্রিকা ও মধ্যপ্রাচ্যের একটি জাতিধর্মীয় নৃগোষ্ঠী।[২৩] তারা মূলত মিশরে বসবাস করে। মিশরের খ্রিষ্টানদের মধ্যে কিবতিরা সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ। এছাড়া সুদান ও লিবিয়াও তারা প্রধান খ্রিষ্টান গোষ্ঠী। কিবতিরা ঐতিহাসিকভাবে কিবতি ভাষায় কথা বলে থাকে। তবে বর্তমানে তারা আরবিতে যোগাযোগ করে থাকে।

কিবতিরা মিশরের জনসংখ্যার ১০%। তারা মিশরের সর্ববৃহৎ খ্রিষ্টান সম্প্রদায় এবং এই অঞ্চলের সর্ববৃহৎ জাতিধর্মীয় সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়।[২৪] সুদানে কিবতিরা জনসংখ্যার ১%।[৪] লিবিয়াতেও তারা জনসংখ্যার ১%।[৫]অধিকাংশ কিবতি আলেক্সান্দ্রিয়ার কিবতি অর্থোডক্স চার্চের অনুসারী[২৫] এছাড়া কিবতিদের মধ্যে ক্যাথলিকও রয়েছে।
